WHY WE LOVE IT
My kids love using this vinegar with dumplings! We eat dumplings often and in order to lessen the sodium we eat at home, I strived to find a vinegar that was flavorful enough to use by itself for dipping (without having to add soy sauce). This one is a winner. Sometimes, I will smash garlic, ginger, scallion and sesame oil to make it even more umami. I’ve used this in conjunction with the Sichuan oil (the numbing ot spicy oil you might notice store bought beef tendon is covered in- also available here) and the Momofuku Chili Oil to make Dan Dan Noodles!
