Why We Love It
This book is a wonderful way to explore cities around the world. I love how before each seek and find page, there is a brief overview of some highlights of each city with great photographs. The seek and find pages are colorful, playful and beautifully illustrated. The book is sturdy enough to throw in your travel pack bag and a good size to take along road trips-not too small to get most, not too heavy to carry around. The pages are a good thickness, but so thin that the pages will rip while turning. The book is very well put together and feel high quality in your hands.
It is PERFECT, except I personally didn’t like the first 2 pages, where they explained what Bigfoot (a big bear or gorilla spotted in the olden days) is thought to be (my kids get scared easily, but when I tell them it’s a myth, they are okay with it). I like how those pages are back to back, so you can either easily skip those pages or tape/staple those 2 pages you don’t want them to read. However, they way they explained Bigfoot was not meant to scare the kids- it was extremely well written and easy for kids to understand- some families might actually appreciate some of the history of it. It’s just enough history, without "too many” details. Not boring at all. Just wanted to add this note for families that might have kids, similar to mine!
