Korean BBQ is a staple in my house- my kids love it too! Go to your local Asian supermarket or Costco and pick up the shabby shabu or hot pot thinly sliced pork or beef. If you have an Hmart near you, the thinly sliced pork belly is amazing for this too. Just wash some romaine lettuce with the meat and put a tiny dab of the sauce- a little goes a long way. I like to add a little sugar or honey to my sauce because we like things a little sweet. Have tried this in tofu soybean paste stew yet, but that is in my to do list next!

The deep, savory flavor is enhanced by minced garlic, shiitake mushroom powder, and sesame oil, and the producer used allulose—a naturally occurring low-calorie sweetener—instead of sugar for a gentle hint of sweetness.
