WHY WE LOVE IT
One of our school day rotations for the kids to pack for snack (the others being our Mezcla Mexican Hot Chocolate Bar and Chickpea Snacks).
We like that it is grass fed, sugar free, nitrate free and contains 4 grams of protein per stick.
My eldest kid has lunch close to last period and all my kids nonetheless used to be starving coming out of school because they probably spend most of the time talking and playing, rather than eating during the lunch period. After adding some snacks with some protein in it, I find them to be less hungry afterschool. I’d like to think these snacks help them feel fuller and therefore can focus more on learning, than feeling hungry during their school day. Sometimes we pack some for their teachers too! We pack these for travel all the time!
Plus, my kids love the taste of these more than what our local supermarket sells and my nurse husband gets these packed for a pick me up, low carb snack!
