Happy Luxe Escape Sleeping Mask (Navy Blue)

$2200

Why We Love It

Day 1, when we first received it , the kids wouldn’t take it off (even in the day time!). This has never happened before and we have tried many masks out there, satin cute fluffy masks (super cute, comfy-ish, but not eco friendly); nylon masks one of my kids got obsessed with because it was super lightweight and pretty comfy (not eco- friendly and I do not like the idea of having a “plastic” material on my daughter’s face all night (think about the hours kids spend sleeping daily), weighted lavender silk mask (hand wash only usually and too “heavy” for my kids); we have tried many! One of my kids sleep with a sleeping mask religiously and can be a little OCD when it comes with comfort and she approves this one!

The fit is perfect for my kids , fitted, but still stretchy enough for an adult. Super comfy and they said it themselves 10/10 for the best sleeping mask they’ve ever had! Plus, they are eco-friendly and made from Tencel (beech tree pulp) and said to be 2xs softer than cotton (it’s super soft) and more breathable as well. Made in the USA and no weird hard plastic buckle behind it.

It’s been quite a journey trying to find a cotton, well made, washable and eco friendly mask- you have no idea how hard it’s been and how long it took for me to find this perfect sleeping mask- great for summer time travel too!

About HappyLuxe

Designer Leah Murakami serves as a pilot for a major airline, and previously with the Air National Guard. In fact, she was one of the first combat ready female fighters pilots in the U.S. Much of her life was spent in the air and on the road where sleep and comfort were in short supply. Murakami yearned for a neck pillow that would provide enough support and comfort to sleep restfully, especially while in an upright position. The inspiration came while she was flying both commercial aircraft and F-16s. “I needed a great pillow. After searching long and hard, I realized that if I wanted the perfect travel pillow, I would have to design it myself.” And she did. And then she created a number of other products that solved common issues associated with traveling. It was important to Murakami that these products were practical, luxurious, multi-functional, sustainable, and made in the USA. She designed them to improve people’s lives by bringing comfort to the customer while limiting the environmental impact. Kurt Wolfgang, a lifelong friend of Leah Murakami, has licensed her designs and customized them to bring to market under the HappyLuxe brand. Kurt believes that all types of travelers will appreciate the practical luxury of these innovative accessories. HappyLuxe donates 10% of its production (pillows, wrap, and sleep masks) to local homeless shelters and organizations in need.
