Eco friendly item of the Month Thinkbaby Thinksport Bento Boxes

Thinkbaby and Thinksport approaches each product category with the same criteria being: Safe. Functional. Sustainable. They seem to research all the parts of their products and their company mission is to provide consumers with safe and affordable product free of BPA, phthalates, nitrosamines, lead, and PVC. Their Feeding set is also free of Melamine. Their interior and exterior can be separated for easy cleaning and  plastic compartments are also food safe and microwave safe!

Thinkbaby and Thinksport's founder, Kevin Brodwick brought his interest in health and preventative medicine and his background in biotechnology together to form a company whose purpose is to create alternative safe products for kids to adults.
They work with a team of physicians and scientists focused on the latest chemical and biological science to lead in the usage of safe materials for consumer products.

In regards to material safety, they say they don’t jump on new materials just because they are free of one chemical. They seem to take a more holistic stance to stay focused on the latest emerging studies and are mindful to differentiate valid science and industry-funded science and do not work with scientists or doctors that endorse specific products. Their bento boxes are made responsibly in Korea and their baby bottles/sippy cups are made in Taiwan. A Thinkbaby rep said that their products are made in a number of countries and that they have carefully selected facilities that would agree to adhere to their chemical standards policy.

In the development of their BPA Free Feeding system, Thinkbaby created a feeding set free of BPA, phthalates, nitrosamines, lead, and PVC; and free of Melamine. When using plastic, they strive to elongate the life of their bottles by making the baby bottle transitionable to sippy cup!

Since their exterior and interior were made to be separated for easy washing, I I inquired about whether their plastic parts were food safe. They were able to tell me not only were they food safe, but that all of their plastic parts were also microwave safe as well! How well their products were thought out in every aspect and the astounding functionality is mind boggling! This means you  can either use the bowls together or take it apart to put fruit in the plastic part, while using the stainless steel part to put rice or noodles.  You can also quickly microwave something that needs to be reheated.

you can use their bento boxes to hold hot/warm and cold food items. Fill them up with your choice of oatmeal, rice, pasta, berries, fruits, pretzels and more!

Another prospect that really stood out when researching the brand and mission was how they also strive to make their safe products affordable and attainable for all , "The goal is to have a product that is pocket book friendly, it doesn’t make sense for us to produce product that only a few affluent individuals can afford. If we are going to help the world, we need to make sure that the world can obtain safe solutions."

Imagine a world where every person who created high quality products think the way they do---Safe, functional, wallet friendly and sustainable!
